I think this version is more masculine and mature. It also has a vintage feel to it. It starts off fresh and peppery! The dry down becomes woody with that hint of rose! To me this is pretty elegant. Performance isn't bad, 5 to 6 hours on my skin. This is definitely a fall/winter fragrance.
Desire Black by Alfred Dunhill was launched in 2014.
Top notes are black pepper, bergamot and grapefruit. Middle notes are saffron, cypress and rose. Base notes are vetiver, olibanum and amber.
