John Varvatos Dark Rebel

Now this is my go to leather fragrance by JV! This actually smells like a new leather jacket. It's dark, smoky, boozy with a touch of sweetness from the vanilla and sugar cane note. In the opening you get that blast of Jamaican rum and spices! As it dries down it becomes sweet and the leather and tobacco becomes dominant. Performance is pretty decent. I get at least 7 hours on my skin. Projection is about an hour or so. 👌🏻

Dark Rebel by John Varvatos was launched in September 2015 and was created by Rodrigo Flores-Roux.

Top notes are Davana, Jamaican rum, Cardamom absolute, Cuban sugar cane and Clary sage. Middle notes are Snapdragon, Nutmeg, Black pepper, Black leather, Styrax absolute and Fir blossom. Base notes are Akigakwood, Balsa wood, Castoreum, Mexican vanilla, Tobacco leaf and Canary Island juniper.
